Notify employer to change the I-9 form after GC

Hi

My attorney had notified my employer that my GC was approved before. I got my card two days back, should I fill a new I-9 form and make a copy of my card to the HR deparment? is there any side effect if I don't do so?

You need to inform your HR about change of immigration status. They will fill out a new I9 for you (supposed).
