Notice to Appear, anyone?

Okay....

Hi:

On what basis is your honorable presence requested before the Almighty Judge? Don't be afraid...you might want to involve an attorney who is qualified to handle immigration matters....

Letsien,

Would you please tell me more about your experience and why did you get one? How much did the attorney charge you? I asked around and the attorney is charging by hour rate and is from $2000-10,000+ flate fee to appear the court w/ me..!!!

Well firstly i came to the US on F1 visa, I graduated from a junior college and xnfered to 4 year college the fees there were very expensive. Fall 2006 I could only afford to register for 3 insted of 4 classes. By doin so i failed to maintain my F1 status so it was terminated sep 2006. 2 ICE angents came to pick me up at my apartment, they took me downtown booked me and served me with a Notice to Appear b4 immigration judge. My bond was set @ $20 000 that same day i was sent to a detention center. I have no criminal records and have neva violated any laws or being jailed b4. I was engaged to my USC girlfriend and she communicated with my family. It took my family 30dayz 2 raise the money 2 bond me out. I got my first lawyer who asked $1000 retainer but she was useless almost got me deported shed neva prepared for my case @ my bond reduction hearing. I fired her got another lawyer he charged me $2000 retainer he was real good and knew what he was doing.

My fiance and i got married a week after i got realsed. all our family were @ the wedding. Her father is a senior army officer on active duty he offered 2 go with us to my master hearing in his uniform along with my father. The judged called them both to go to the judge chambers and interviewed our farthers to make sure i was not marriying to evade immigration laws and he was satisfied that our marriged was 4 real. We also had 1 year of bank statements, joint bills, insurance + utilities and jointed leases we gave to the judge and the prosecutor. Apperantly the judge also served in the army as an officer in the same unit 101st airborne and served in all the counties as my father inlaw served but 10 decades ealier. So the judge ruled that I should stay out of trouble and finish processing my I-130 with immigration services then file my 485 with the immigraiton court and he will approve it and close my case. The prosecutors did not appeal when asked by the judge.

Regarding my lawyer my whole immigration case will cost me $4000.00 since my case was not that complex and the judge stated he will give me a second chance to stay my legal fees will not go up. I do not really need a lawyer @ this stage but cause i had already paid him, I might as well make use of him. WARNING!!! When choosing a lawyer b very carefull ... if a lawyer guarantees to win your case + boast about how many cases he or she has won + states he knows the judges and all the people in immigration... hang up the phone or walk out of that office they are lying 2 you.

Letsien,

I sent you a private message. I'm in LA as well. I'd like to have your attorney's info. I cancelled my Info pass appoinment tomorrow as I don't want to risk getting detained and get myself into more troubles..
