Case forwarded to regional DOL office(ATL) on 08/12/02

automated message says NOF on 09/04/02.

Can someone tell me what NOF means and what are the chances of getting approved after a NOF is issued.

notice of finding is issued by DOL to get clarifications on some doubts regarding the case. Its nothing unusual. People do get approved after replying to nof.
 
NOF (Notice of findings)

My company's attorney also got NOF and has given up hope
of filling satisfactory reply due to some layoff's in the company.
And is not asking me to prepare fresh case to be filed in
the standard category (non RIR). Any suggestion what to do
in this case ?
 
Notice of Finding - Normally it is slightly bigger than RFE. In other words Labor department's intent to deny our application.

For example, if the salary stated is less than the prevailing wages or if the education/experience specified in LC is not suitable for the job description, we get NOF.

I got one last year saying that the salary is less than prevailing wages. Then my employer raised my salary figures on the LC application and we sent the application again and it was approved.
