I jsut heard the status that a NOTICE OF FINDINGS has been issued to my case at the NY regional level.

Does anybody kow what could this mean?

NOF

Means there is some deficiency in your application which you are offered a chance to rectify, following which the case can be approved. In my case there was a wage issue and after we rectified that, the case got certified. Your attorney should receive your NOF in a couple of days after it gets issued.

I think mine is alse a wage issue. CAn you please tell me exactly what that is and what exactly did you do to rectify that situation.

IF (and this is a big if since there are many reasons DOL can issue a NOF) it is for a wage issued, DOL believes that the offered wage is below prevailing and is therefore too low. The company will either need to increase the wage offered to what DOL states is the prevailing wage, or convince DOL that there wage determination is incorrect.

Best bet would be to increase the offered wage as suggested by DOL, and put internal job posting again for 10 days.
