I understand that NVC can take up to 3 or more months to process DS-260 etc. However, once they issue a notice for an immigrant visa interview at the local consulate (Delhi), what is the typical length of this notice period? Do they give you just one month notice or is there a flexibility to extend? I ask because we might need more time to prepare for the interview, especially since we will have to make a trip to Delhi for a Medical exam.
Also, if an applicant has previously been ten-printed at US embassy, can they skip the finger-printing step?
