I just received notices from my lawyer\'s office.

Myself, Primary Applicant

I-131(AP) RD 5/4/2001 ND 6/6/2001
I-765(EAD) RD 5/4/2001 ND ???????? (Did not receive this notice)

Wife\'s Case, Derivative

I-485 RD 5/4/2001 ND 6/6/2001
I-131(AP) RD 5/4/2001 ND 6/6/2001
I-765(EAD) RD 5/4/2001 ND 6/6/2001

Now waiting for FP notices and then Approval and then Actual Card....
It is a never ending story, is it?

Hi,

Just made a phone call to the IIO at NSC, she told me that the receipt has been mailed out on June 8. I filed my I-485 petition on May 8 via Fed-Ex.

My husband\'s was received by NSC on 4/23/01 (per return receipt from US postal service). No receipt from NSC yet, so we\'re in the same boat!

FYI. Checks I sent for AOS were cleared by INS on 06/15. I-485 receipt should come shortly. I mailed the package on 05/02/01 and it was received on 05/05.

Got my Reciepts for 485,EAD and AP. Application recd by INS Nebraska
on May8,01 reciepts mailed on Jun13.

No, haven\'t yet. I heard different stories regarding check being cleared.
Some said receipt would come to you before the check is cleared, others
said opposed. I saw one posting in this site said check was cleared June15, but
so far he did not receive his notice yet.

INS will check out the check once per month, so you will have a difference about 30 days. If you found your check is cleared and you will get your receipt notice in 30 days, otherwise check the mail. My I-485 was sent to NSC may/3 and got Notice Receipt on June 10, yours should be around. check your lawyer.

I believe the INS does not always wait for a check to clear before
the receipt notice is sent.

In my case the notice date was May 7, 2001.
NSC mailed the notice to me on May 8 and it arrived on May 11.
All of my checks (I-485, EAD, AP) also cleared on May 11, the same day as I got the recipt notice in the mail.

I received my EAD notice today. RD May10, ND June18. Waiting
for I485 notice, my attorney probably got it already.
