notice date, receipt date and priority date

hi im just a little confused about this 3 dates. can someone help me with this. My interview letter says my priority date is August 24, 2006. my notice date is september 21 and my receipt date is also august 24. when you check on the current processing dates online which date should you use? thanks!

It doesn't matter; your case has been processed, and you're waiting for the interview.
 
thanks, but i just want to know the difference and what should i use to check on my ead. thanks! any helpwould be greatly appreciated!
 
Receipt Date (RD): Date when application was received by USCIS.

Notice Date (ND): Date when notification was sent back to beneficiary/attorney by USCIS

Priority Date (PD): Date when application for LC received by DOL or date when application for 140/130 received by USCIS.

Out of above three dates, Priority Date is most important date during immigration process. PD decides your eligibility to adjust status (to file I-485) in US or consulate processing at US mission outside US.

Unless you're the immediate relative of a US citizen, in which case it is irrelevant.
