Northern Virginia area(Arlington INS)

I have seen approvals for ND dates later than mine. Checked my message and is still \'We received your case on ......\'. Why is that? I am not the only one in this situation, I am sure. I want to find out if there is anything we can do to draw somebody\'s attention to this and see if we can get INS to process the application on \'first in first out\' basis?

It looks like cases of RD date between July 15,1999 and Aug 01,1999 or
or ND Aug 01,1999 to Aug 10,1999 are somehow got lost in the process. I have seen so many cases later to this dates are approved but many cases in this date range are still waiting. Is it because the adjudicator handling this lot is in vacation or the files have been misplaced??

Can you update your postings with the cities where you live or work, please?
That may give us an idea whether geographic location plays a role in 485 process.

Scared to call IIO after reading GEMINI\'s experience with IIO.
I have called a couple of times(3 times to be exact) in last 3 weeks but fortunately always they were courteous and said wait 3 to 6 weeks.

It looks like some of the applicants with notice date from first half of August99 are still waiting while applicants with later notice date are getting approved. Poeple with ND from first half of August have RD of July99, when the floodgates were still not open, so all of them should have there PDs current.

I am worried that we may get stuck for a long time. I remember some of the applicants from Aug/Sep \'98 timeframe were stuck for a long time while people with later dates were getting approval. Can anybody suggest something?
