Not clear news from INS.

Hi Gurus. Pleas make it clear for me. I checked "status online" and I read "On March 4, 2003, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed." Does it means INS approved my H1B petition or not? If not what does it means? How looks normal information with clear news that petitionon was approved?

I'll be very grateful for help.

Looks like it is an RFE

I saw a similar message when they issued RFE for my I-140.
To the best of my knowledge no your case is not approved yet.

That's an RFE. They need additional information on your case. That information will be explained on the RFE.
