I recently realized that we hadn't updated my husband's address with Selective Service when we moved 18 months ago. We did update with immigration right away and within the legal time-frame but I didn't think about SS. The website says that he was *required* to change the address for selective service within 10 days! Will it hurt his naturalization process that he updated the address sooo late? He's set to apply in just a few months.
He was 24 when we moved and by the time he gets the interview he may or may not be 26 already. Not sure if that matters.
Upon realizing this, we changed his address online and he just got a new card in the mail. It says right on the little card "last action: June 15 2011" so I am a bit concerned they will see that and know that he didn't change the address with SS until June 15 2011 when we clearly moved and updated with immigration 18 months earlier!
I would just hate to pay the almost $700 to get denied over this, and I can't find anything online about it.
