Did your new status message look anything like this ?

"Processing for your Alien Registration Card or Green Card has been completed. Your BCIS document will be mailed to you as soon as it is
ready."

It is normal

My approval message is normal standard one and it says "This case has been approved. On September xx, blah blah blah ......."
