I'm a U.S. citizen and I'm currently in the process of applying for my wife's green card. We didn't get our marriage registered, but we are told that we can get court affidavit from two witnesses who attended our marriage, but we also need "non availability of marriage certificate" from the registrar of marriage in the city where we got married. It basically should say that either the marriage was not registerd or that the record of such a marriage was not found. Has anyone obtained such a document from India, specifically from Delhi?
