My case had been finally Approved after RFE.

Green Card Journey started back 03/2000.
It took time to file my Labor as I was asking out company attorney to file my case under EB2/RIR and he was insisting for EB3 as my BS + 5 years was just a five year. so he was saying that its border line case but as EB3 was taking too long to be current that time, I took that risk and asked him to file for EB2/RIR.
Labor Filed in August 2000, approved in two months
I-140 filed in Jan 2001, approved in March 2001
I-485 Filed in April Last week and it took more than two months for INS to send receipt notice in First week of july 2001
Moved to Los Angeles, Change address in August 2001
FP : 15/11/2001 Done in Los Angeles ( scheduled Dec 8 San jose)
AVM: Changed to 'Finger Printe Revie received on Nov 26 2002 processing resumed'
AVM: Infamous 'On Dec 29 we have recevied your finger print review and processing has been resumed on your case...'
Poeple started getting approved with April 2001 receipt date in Dec-Jan-Feb 2002 and I started wating....
Blessed with Baby Girl in Jan 2002 and we got busy. Thank God otherwise this wait must have killed me.
Talked to IIO many times but NO help: Standard reply 'Sir We process case by case...' Frustrating.
One Coworker got approved even though he filed after 3 months of mine !!!
In April 2002 send a letter to local congressman, his office has been very prompt in getting answer from INS but no help. the received a reply from INS: 'INS is processing cases with recipt date of 01/01/2001' your is July 2001'.
JULY 2001 ???? They messed up with the dates. IN system they had both receipt date/notice date in July though RD was april 2001.
Send another letter to Congressman when INS start showing that are processing case of 01/07/01.
NO help: INS informed cogreesman office that they have send an RFE on 05/15/2001 and Congressman office suggested me to send required document and contact them if nothing happens.
I've noticed on this board that congressman letter prompt INS to generate RFE !!!
Talked to IIO after 15 days passed and NO RFE received. They told me that RFE is requested but not sent to you. Please be P....
It took them more then two months to send the RFE and which was received by attorney in July last week.
Changed Employer/Joined the client almost at the same time RFE was received by attorney. Middle of the July 2002.

last 4 years pay Tax Returns, Last four years W-2s
( I only had for last 3 years with me),
Recent 3 pay stubs
ETAs part I and Part II ( the labor application itself you can say)
approved copy of Labor
Approved I-140
Company Tax Info for last two year
Companys ability to pay
Employement Verification Letter
Looks like they lost my I-485 File !!! Asked almost everything.
Replied RFE using AC21 September first week : It took lot hell of time (3-4 weeks to reply). In fact I was trying to go with the sponser employer as I had the current pay stub at the time I got the RFE. I just changed the job. But things didn't work out well. Some issues. So I decided to go with AC21.
New Company manager co-operated fully.
--got the Same Title, Same Job Description
-- Salary not exactly the same but in the range as mentioned in labor.
--same state but different location
--Its a public company so financial information was available online. Sent them the printouts of Company Financial statemetns for last two years including the 3 quarters of year 2002.
RFE Ack by INS on 09/05/2001
Approved the case on 09/20/2001
AVM Changed to 'Approved on 09/20/2001'
Got the copy in mail 09/25/2001
stamped in Los Angeles 09/27/2001 ( wait for LA stamping experience ).
Finally Long and stressful wait is over.
All is good when it ends in Good.
Not completely over: Spouse Approval not received nor AVM get changed !!! But not worried too much about that. should I?
