Dear Members,
I recently received a Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID) from USCIS, indicating that my previous employer was in a forfeited status during a period in which I was employed with them.
At the time, I had no insight into the company’s tax or corporate standing, as I was fully focused on fulfilling my responsibilities under H-1B status.
Upon reviewing the matter now, I discovered that the employer had been forfeited by the state for tax-related reasons from 2017 to 2020. However, the issue was resolved and their status was reinstated in 2020.
Throughout my employment with that company, I consistently received paystubs and maintained approved timesheets, which I can provide as supporting documentation.
My current status is I-485 Pending AOS
My I-140 and I-485 is tied to that employer, any advise to handle this situation or any prior experience dealing with this please share.
Thanks in advance,
James
