have filed my RIR case in May 2001, transmitted to SF DOL in June 2002. In Oct 2002, got NOF from DOL. want to know has anybody in WA got the NOF as me and how long does it take to get LC clearied after company file back the response to NOF?

Usually DOL process NOF responses quickly. But approval depends upon the reason and employer explaination for NOF.
 
Thanks a lot for your reply. Can you give me an example which you know that in what time frame that DOL will review the response from company ?

example which I know :

July 17, 2002: Applied to Harrisburg SWA (SESA)
July 28, 2002: Forwarded by Harrisburg to Philly DOL
Aug 02, 2002: Recieved and assigned case # by Philly DOL
Nov 21, 2002: NOF for missing Adv. from Philly DOL
Dec 16, 2002: Submitted NOF Rebuttal to Philly DOL
Jan 07, 2003: Approved by Philly DOL

thanks for letting me know that case. This is good news to me. But maybe Philly DOL is processing much faster than Washington.

Congratulations 97755!!

Was wondering what your DOT code is ??
SFO DOL claims it is still processing cases from 12/2001,
where as your case reached them in 6/2002.

and realized that you had filed from Washington
and not California!

hi usnycus (and other gurus),

my labor was applied through harrisburg sesa (sent on sept 3, 2002) and my attorney says that he does not have any confirmation if it was sent to philly - he is guessing that it would have reached philly dol in the last week of september.

I checked the automated phone and email systems of philly dol and the first active case mentioned has the date of mid november.

please guide how I could concretely identify the dates at each stage as you have mentioned in your case.
