No w-2's what to do

Canadian Immigration officer requested me for last 2 years w-2's. I was on bench for 2 years and I have job now. I need to submit w-2's within a week. What I have to do..? Can you pls.help me in this matter...

Tell them the truth and try to get the latest stubs atleat. Don't put fake w-2's. They are going with IRS to check whether they are real or fake.

I am working with the company now and have latest pay stubs but is it alright if I tell them that I was on bench. Have you gone through this already?
