no ss could my husband still put my name on the lease put joint account and utility bill still. thank you
 
If you have a Tax ID...he can put you as joint on the bank account. Lease would depend on the landlord.
 
utility statement - depends on the utility company. I added my parents' name to our bills (not accounts, just the actual account statements) before they even entered the US with immigrant visas. No need for SSN just to add their names to bills - but the bills come in very handy when a person is applying for a State ID (or at the AOS interview).

Joint bank statements, car insurance and health insurance and lease. None of which were an issue for me however as I've had a SSN for 15 years and my wife and I had lived together for years before our interview (we had been married for >2 years).

Dpends on the bank. I got my EAD but no SS card as yet. However, my husband was able to add me to his account. I had to sign an exemption tax form (think it was a W8).
