No sign of word approvals
After the processing dates move a month for I 485. No approvals (no one posted approvals). Does it take time?
Or
Is it a trick of TSC moving the date and not approving the case?

What you guys say ?

I scanned the cases between src02-037-57000 and 578000 yesterday, there was one case approved on 6/17/2003.

WNBA - Just checking ... the ND for SRC-02-037-5xxxx would be around November 15, 2001, isn't it? From your scan, how many petitions were approved?

It's good news to see that a case was approved on 06/17/2003.

How?

How to Scan? And What is src02-037-57000 and 578000?
Please expain me, I am curious to know and new to this site.

hey guys

I need to understand the nomenclature for SRC numbers.

As per me any number SRC 02 is fro the year 02. Then how come it is in november of 01?

Could some one rewrite it please.

regards

may01 & sssppp,

- As you know SRC is for TSC (EAC for VSC, LIN for NSC & WAC for CSC).
- Yes 02 stands for budget year 2002 (which starts from October 1, 2001 itself).
- 037 shows the number of "working" days from 10/01/2001.
- And of course 5xxxxx - 5xxxxx shows your receipt number on that day.

You can use the MS Excel file attached to scan by your SRC number range. Just enable and use the macro.

If possible, do post your results.

Hi ML_2001,

Here we go ...

1. Open file with MS Excel. When opening it, it will warn you that the file has a "macro" and will ask you what to do. Note that many viruses are written like this and I would strongly advice caution (use Norton or McAfee to scan the file). Click on "Enable Macro".
2. Click on "Alt" button and "F8" at the same time (or go to "Tools" - "Macro" - "Macros...".
3. Select "I485Scan" and click on "Run".

The macro will guide you the rest!

Have fun!

How to see the output?

Bajis!
I ran the macro as you mentioned. But I changed the input parameters for 02-208 and ranges 55600-55700. It ran thro' and I got the message it is done. But still it says the same file with info for SRC0203951285 etc. I don't know how to see the new file. Please help me.

sssppp,

1. When the macro runs, it opens a web browser iteratively. Did you see that?
2. The macro should have created a new tab (something like "src02-208"). Can you check the file again for the new tab?
3. Try another range of numbers (like 50001-52700).

If all the above fails, may be the file I attached doesn't work!! Can someone else post it?

Help Pl.

Could anybody please run the macro for
02-208 and range 55600-55700? And please post the result file on this discussion.

thanks a lot,
SSSPPP.

Thanks

Thank you Manolacho for your help.

Hello SydneyRacquelle!

Now I learnt how to run the macros. Just copy the file into your desired folder. Open for edit. Delete the all the record items. Not the header. Then in the SRC column, put SRC numbers you want to scan with in the range. Then at the bottom, rename the sheet as your run parameter like 02-208 or 01-300 or 03-100.
Then ALT and F8. Select Scan 485 and click on Run. Now you will definitely get the result after entering your yy-day and 5xxxx-5yyyy parameters. The SRC numbers in the column SRC should be within the range you specified here in the parameters.
One more important thing is, if your browser is not supporting encription then also you cannot run this maco.

Have fun!

My computer can't do this...I have tried. Can someone PLEASE run this and let me know approximately how many approvals, etc there are for SRC 02 096 (Feb 1/02). Many many thanks!!!!

Sydney, your MS-excel must have macros disabled.

Open you MS-excel with a blanksheet and click on TOOLS, OPTIONS. There is a tab called Security.
At the bottom is Macro security.
change the security level to Medium or Low and then open the 485 sheet.
Then run the macro.
After you complete the run, you might want reset the secuirty level back to High.

else for running SRC 02 096 , you shd suggest a range of nos.

I really really appreciate your help...but my computer is old and next to useless...the numbers are SRC 02 096 537xx and 538xx. Many many thanks!!!!!!

SydneyRacquelle,

Here you go ... can you do some analysis on the file and post the results?

SRC-02-096-53700 through SRC-02-096-53899
