No Response from FBI on name check means it is not cleared?

Hi There,

Any thoughts? I have sent three emails during the period of 09/15/2004 to 01/12/2005 requesting status of my name check, Never got any response from FBI. I know there are otehr folks with the same situation. Is it possible that there is any link between no reply from FBI to name check still pending?

FBI is still working on emails received during the Mid-Oct 04. So you will have to wait another two months to get to yours!

Why?? Sep < Oct?

I guess September (09/15/2004) comes before Mid October. So guywithoutgreen should have got at least 1 response.

By the way I have sent emails too to FBI in Sept, Oct and Nov. After that, thought what the hell!!. I received no response yet.

But when I called USCIS, it was during this rapid-fire question session with USCIS that I got to know both (my and my wife's) Name Checks are complete. I congratulate myself though that I did not dare ask When?, because that would have triggered my case being dumped into a storage for Too Much Curiosity.

Which number did you called to check your name check status with USCIS? My name check has been pending since 10/03, and I eas told this during my interview in the D.C local office. Many thanks
