I sent an inquiry to csc-xii.485@dhs.gov on 3/3 to find out the current status of my case and have not gotten any reply yet. I am getting antsy. Is that normal? How long does it take for them to respond?

My case became current as of Mar 1, 2006. My last LUD change was from Oct 2005 where the message said that the results of my fingerprint review were received and the processing has resumed. Does anyone know if this means all of my security checks have been cleared and my case should be on its way to get adjudicated now that my priority date is current?

Thanks!

no action after Mr. William response

I first wrote to Mr. Williams on Dec 17,2005. He replied on Jan 9,2006 when he stated ina very laconic way "should be completed in 60 days". But after sixty days have passed, I sent him another email yesterday with a copy of his reply. I hope I can get good news soon because there was an LUD on 03/06/06 and 03/07/06. Good luck to you all! :)

waiting drives you crazy

I do not know what to say. But since he answere it would take 60 days, I was able to refrain myself and wait until yesterday, 59 days later after his email. I hope I can get some good reply from him. Good luck! :)

Me too! I thought I could get reply quickly. But it turns out NOT this time. I sent query two week back.

Me too

I sent the email at exactly 2 weeks before, and there is no response yet. The last thing I want to see is that after 2 months waiting, you are receiving email to notify that you are stuck in name checking...

I need your advise!!!Please!!

I got this answer today:

Your I-485 has a few issues:

1) Medical examination does not meet the I-485 minimum requirements
2) Your fingerprints resulted in an ident match

Your I-485 is going to be relocated to the District Office in your area for interview and to resolve
all issues that are not clear. You will receive a transfer and appointment notice in the future.

M. Bueno
Please tell me what can I do to resolve this issue. Never had a single traffic ticket, no problemas at all. What does an Ident means?

need to wait 3 atleat 3 weeks

Hi, i have sent an email to csc on 03/23 and got a reply from Mr. Cruz today saying that visa numbers are not available. So i guess we need to wait for 3 weeks to get a reply.

PD 10/01; EB3 India

You should find out why your medical does not meet the requirement? Didn't you go to a certified doctor who should have taken care of every requirement needed?

At the same time, I think an opportunity for an interview is promising.

I guess they just randomly respond to emails? My priority date, I485 receipt date, and email date were all earlier than yours. How come they still have not responded to my email? :(

typo?

Did you mean 02/23/2005 instead of 03/23/2005?

:p

Hi get_gc,

Thanks for your information. I sent email to INS at 02/24/2005, and no response yet.

From what I learn in the forum, I think it means that your name check is clear and when your PD is current, your GC will be approved shortly. Congratulations!

h1ca, Hopefully you will get the respose this week

h1ca, Hope you will hear good news from csc soon.

Officer Cruz explicitly mentioned that my security checks are cleared. When i enquired about the status in june 2005, my application was pending security checks.

Hope my case will be cleared when the visa numbers are available sometime this year.

On March 15, 2006, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to an office in MISSOURI SERVICE CENTER for processing. That office has jurisdiction over the case. They will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office. Please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283 to receive information about local office processing times.

what a mess!!!!!!!! :(
