No receipt yet- I-485 sent on 4/13/2001

I\'m starting new link of my previous discussion related to I-1485/EAD/AP sent on 4/13/01 but no receipt yet.

Today morning I talk to IIO at CSC and feedback got was there are 60days backlogged. She asked my name and DOB and checked their database and no entry yet. Hope this information is going to help others with same status.

Lets keep our fingers crossed and share information with others at the time of waiting. Please post your information.

Well, I have been checking other discussion boards (H1 and I140) and everybody seems to be in the same boat. There is some generic problem with CSC mail room. I dunno if people have been receiving any approval notices, but no one is getting any receipt notices.

On top of this, CSC recently canceled a liaison meeting that was scheduled for sometime this week and it might get re-scheduled to some time in July. Such meetings is used by CSC to give some processing insight to lawyers. This meeting would have been useful to know what\'s causing the delay.

One recourse would be to call our lawyers and ask them to find (thru AILA or whoever) about the reason for the delay.

If anyone gets a receipt notice, please post ASAP. (We used to wait desperately for approval notices, now we have to wait for receipt notices ... how much worse can it get??)
