No receipt for child

I filed for AOS and received receipt notices for me and my wife for 485, EAD as well as AP. But we did not receive any letter for our child. We had filed papers for all the members of family at the same time.

Is this normal?

it is ins\'s fault. you have to ask your attorney to contact ins for that. and ask ins to reattach your child\'s case to your case.

Someone told me that sometimes they send the dpendent\'s receipts first and primary applicants later. It is all random. I am not sure if anyone had similar experience.
