Is there any way to get the case (receipt) number by calling IIO or VSC.

Is it possible to just give the case number (without receipt notice) to local INS office (Boston) and receive the EAD card same day. This would be an exercise to get an EAD card without waiting for the receipt.

Any thoughts ?

Using SSN, you can find about the apps. Generally it takes 30 days to generate a receipt on all applicaitons. I dont think U can get EAD without receipts.
