No original birth certificate

Hi:

I dont have a birth certificate issued at the time of birth. Hence, I got affidavits from each of my parents.

I was also asked by my lawyer to get the following and I have no idea where to get this from:

"you will also need a certificate of unavailability if you cannot obtain an original birth certificate from the proper authorities in India."

Can anyone advise where I can get the "certificate of unavailability" from?

-------------- your parents or you need to go to District Registrar of Birth and they will issue " non availability of Birth certificate" if that certificate is in Indian language then any notary will get it translated in English" submit non availability of Birth certificate+ 2affidavits
