No of Days more than 60

I read an interesting note from peterwang60 as below:
Hi guys,

I called National Customer Service Center (800) 375-5283 a moment ago checking the time frame of processing our cases, I was told I need to wait 60 days after RFE received by them, if I didn't get any feedback after 60 days, I should give them a call and they will send a request to immigration officer.


ND: 12/20/2002
1FP: 02/01/2003
2FP: ??/??/????
RFE: 05/07/2004 (EVL)
AD: / /
Response received by USCIS on 05/27/2004, Updated on 05/28/2004.

If I am not mistaken there are many amongst us who are waiting months after sending their RFE reply.
Have they tried this?
 
If I am not mistaken the 60 days rule also includes the condition that the case ND must be atleast 30 days PAST the processing time. So e.g. 485 processing time is 02/15/02, the your case has to have ND of 01/15/02 or ealrier AND 60 days must have past since RFE response was received, before they do a case referral.

I am open to correction though...

Don't worry too much about it... what ever trends I have seen for past couple of months or so... NSC is approving most of cases in 10-20 days after receipt of RFE (specially EVL)....


so wait for one week or so and your case should get approved....

I do not know how prophetic you are but well, if it happens so, then I owe you a coffee.

Then again it's been 44 days since they received my RFE reply (Apr 27).

But "a week or so" as you put it and the coffee is still on. :)

looks like you may need a second FP. I am in the same boat (RFE reved 5/21). But let hope we can see approval without second FP. The CSR can't tell you anything if your RD is after the official date (1/15/2002?)
 
wait more?

My friend replied to the RFE on March 5th and his status got changed on March 12 saying that RFE has been received and they will process his case in certain number of days. Havent heard anything so far.
