No LUD but can see lat updated date as 08/09 when i logged in

I did not get an email LUD update.But when I logged into my account using login from the menu on RHS, I saw that the last updated date for the case as 08/09/07 for both me and my spouse..But I did not receive any email. I am not sure whether my case was updated or it just shows some last weeks date when one logs in.This is the first time I logged in since I registered on USCIS site. Also, as somebody else also mentioned on the site,
My Message says The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. as oppsed to pending at TSC (which was before, don't know when this changed)

Pls let me know..
 
You will get the emails only if there is a change in case status. If you read thru the post in this portal. Many have experienced only the LUD (Last Update Date) change and no status update. It has been assumed that LUD changes only when IO is working on your case.

So, is it the LUD change what everybody talks about? I assumed they get to know from email..I hope I get green card soon:( I have never logged into my account since I thought I will automatically be updated via an email..But it shows an updated date of 9th Aug and nothing after that:(

Tellowrock, you will also LUD change soon. I hopoe LUD changes lead to green card...
 
My wife's LUD changed so many times without any changes to the message or any email. But today she got her GC. So having lot of LUD's is good for you.
