No longer Frist IN First OUT

I have a bad feeling that INS will no longer honor the first in and first out rule for approving 485 cases. We already see ND 01 approvals while ND 00 are still waiting. With the RFI requesst to late ND 02 cases (it's strange to see Oct 02 get RFI first), I'm sure we will see ND 02 approvals while ND 01 is still waiting. And that's why INS won't be able to give the CUTOFF date, because they are not able to...

well it should be "a good feeling" at least for yourself since your ND is '02 :p

Actually, ND 10/02 is in fiscal year 2003. As a result, it makes it even more puzzling. I'm wondering if a RFE for ND 10/02 now means something else. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what CIS is asking for in these RFEs.

Well as I have always been saying. This RFI is just like mass Fingerprints done last year for every application. This is another way of USCIS to "get rid" of few more applications...if maybe 2% of the asylees dont respond to the RFI and their application is abandoned..its less work for them. The fact that BIO's are sent out without any emails or any status updates simply means that USCIS wants to catch us off-guarded. I mean some people got BIO on August 9th for August 23rd date etc..some people go on vacations for more than a month..and if they dont respond, their application is abandoned.

And after reading other boards, there are lots of "Intent to Deny" letters being sent out stating that since evidence wasn't received, their application is abandoned...There was a huge discussion on Intent to Deny on a murthylaw.com about why USCIS was sending mass Intent to Deny letters.

This is another way to reduce backlog...

What is a joke for these imcompetent assholes is a pain in the butt for us. We have to spend $200+ for medicals and atleast take time off work for doing FP. These bastards make us feel like a dog with tongue hanging out waiting a bone to be thrown to him....

hmmm

Let me add my 2 cents:

I personally don't believe that there are any significant changes been made within USCIS to process Asylees. Whatever we have seen so far (Random Approvals etc) have been done to show the judge that we ARE doing something but I actually don't believe things have gotten any faster or smoother for majority of Asylee cases. We were their lowest priority to begin with and it will stay that way for some time. Thats my thinking on it.
