No Greencard for 11 months!!!!

I am writing about my case to get your opinion on this.

My case has been approved for 11 months.

My passport has been restamped recently.

During infopass when I asked them whats going on.

I heard this answer

The actual green card can take up to 12-16 months to get printed.

Now is there such a rule.

Do i need to get a lawyer to get my plastic card.

1 look in the system and they clearly tell me your status has been adjusted but card not produced.

Based on other posters this has gotta to be the longest time taken for someone to get plastic card?

You can mail form G-731 Inquiry About Status of I-551, Alien Registration Card to the Service Center which approved your application. Please choose the correct form for the appropriate Service Center (For example for G-731T for Texas Service Center).
 
Someone has informed me that

I should submit I-824 which is request for duplicate approval notice

What do you guys think????????
