Today I spoke to my lawyer. He says that this news about 485 approvals after 180 days of filing is not correct.
This news is about ac21 portability clarification only.
This is a good news for Long GC and cases like those.
It may be a good sign for several cases, where they are concerned about portability of their job. New note from AILA to the lawyers clarifies it and confirms that it is correct.

Not about AC21

Murthy's answer is not about AC21. See this line in her answer.

The memo or guidance will require BCIS to issue an approval of the I-485 if...............

If Murthy is talking about AC21, then it's nothing new, she shouldn't be excited about it. This time maybe it's something real.

I agree with may01. Till date, AC21 has not been clearly defined. People like longGC would have gotten their approvals by now if the AC21 was well defined.

I don't think Ms. Murthy said, "ALL I-485 petitions > 180 days WILL be approved". I think she meant, "All I-485 petitions > 180 days will be approved due to (a clearly defined) AC21" context. Hopefully BCIS will set some rules for AC21 by Friday.

At least, that's something to cheer about. Don't expect any flood of approvals. Just lesser pains for people > 180 days (mainly with job-related problems).
