I have received No FP notices even though i have received the receipt notice on December 1st...

well here are the facts of my application(receipt Number):
Notice Send date: October th, 2007
RECEIVED DATE: October 11th,2007
Priority Date: October 11th, 2007
Notice date: November 29th, 2007
received date: December 1st, 2007

This is what it said on the Web Site where I have register
Receipt Number: WSC******

Application Type: N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION

Current Status: Case received and pending.

On November 2, 2007, we received this N400 APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. Hang in there ..you should receive FP notice by end of January. You can call USCIS and ask them how long you can expect to wait for FP, but even their estimates are not always accurate.

I would not worry too much about not receiving your FP notice yet. Santa Ana is clearly backed up and it took about 30 days from the time I received my original NOA until the time I got my FP notice (see my timeline below). Given that you got your NOA on December 1, I am guessing that your FP notice will arrive any day now and almost certainly within the next two weeks (USCIS may have slowed down somewhat for the holiday season, but it should be back to work for them today.) Just hang in there, and you will get the FP notice soon.

One other thing to advise you of is that I actually did my fingerprinting earlier than my FP date. This was due to a conflict that I had with the date on the notice - I will be away on a business trip. I went to the FP center the day I got the FP notice and fortunately for me I just walked right in and was done in about 15 minutes. From what I can tell, Wednesday and Saturday afternoons are the best time to just "walk in" and try to do the fingerprinting. I arrived on a Saturday afternoon at 1:55pm and was done by 2:10pm. They are open, I believe, until 4pm on Saturdays. I never intended to do this, but things just kind of worked out the way they did...in going early, I did my fingerprinting about one month prior to when it was actually scheduled. However, it remains to be seen if this will have any impact on the overall processing time for my application.

I have called the Customer service and because its been more than 30 days they have send in a special request for my application...to my Service center...but they said that its going to take at least 30 days????:confused: really do u ppl think soo has anybody did that???:confused:
I know its seems like i'm impatient but what can i do???
I'm newly married i guess...well is not that new anymore but my husband is back in my country Pakistan...its been more than 4 months since i have seen him:(...i thought before getting in to this nationality thing that it will not take more than 4 to 5 months but all my plans have back fired on me now i'm caught in the middle:o...cought in the rush:confused:

If I were you I'd get both yourself and husband a webcam so that you can at least see eachother virtually. Be prepared to wait at least 90 days for FP notice (worse case scanario) and then another few months for interview. Sorry to break the news, but the entire process will take much longer than the 4-5 months you initially had hoped for.
 
You are talking about 4 months seperation. My wife and I have been lived seperated for the last 4 years and every six months we can only see eachother for two weeks. 30 days in the whole year 365 days. Be happy that your situation is not as bad. You will get your stuff soon. I am sorry, Santa Ana is really carzy all the time. You know how much immigrant they have over there. I can say it is parallel to LA DO as been crazy.

ahh geetha1 ji I'M not trying to go ahead of line here but i have called them several times during December and they said that they couldn't do any thing for me unless the receipt notice i have received is 30 days old...and i have received my notice on dec 1st so i called them this afternoon and they have send in some form to my local office that hopefully will caught attention (i really really hope so) i really don't know what is going to happen they said they will reply with in 30 days even this looks a very long time for me :o...(sorry if it look a harsh reply)

i really feel for u Nimche but u see u r a man and in my country if a man staying aboard for a visa reason its nothing but if a woman want the same thing...its not the same...



things r going crazy back home i have missed my best friend/cousins wedding:( in December and many other special occasions...

any reason why you cannot travel while your N-400 is pending?

Agreed there are many things happening in Pakistan but the OP mentioned of missing out on friends/cousins weddings because of the pending N-400.
 
well many times i have consider to travel back to Pakistan...but I was waiting for my FP appointment so that I could stay for a long period of time in Pakistan..(less than 5 month trip) but the wait seems to grew long:o....I'm considering to go to the Santa Ana Office to Consult with anyone..do u think they will help me with my case???? for example they could help to get me the fingerprint notice with in 2 weeks????:rolleyes:...hehehe


PS...I'm not worried about going to Pakistan in these situation..its nothing Pakistani People are fighters..their will be always a situation in which we can say oh its not good to stay in Pakistan...I believe that no one can runaway from Death It will happen anytime anywhere...so why we have to run away from it...

;)..:DYeay Good news ppl...when to the office today they person in the Window said they have mailed my FP Appointment letter today on January 4th:rolleyes::D the date is January 30th, 2007...but I will not be able to go to that appointment due to personal reasons:confused:...can I go early than the schedule appointment?...and also what is the best time to go for the appointment???Its going to be Schedule on Buena Park, California...but can't find the number to call them up???? any ideas???
and their is one more problem in my application the apartment number was wrong so i changed it back in December...they customer service ppl didn't do a good job...I checked with the Officer today it was still wrong so she did changed it today from Apt#2 to APT#8 which is a correct Number...now they Question is if they have send me the letter in which the Apartment number is incorrect do I take that letter or wait until the Correct Apartment # Letter is in my hand(which also means wait for a little long time)????

No But I was going to ask them at the window if they can't give me the information I'm looking for I would go ahead and ask them if they can arrange an infopass for me...I have gone their before and I think u can ask for a infopass at the window and they will assist u...but u can also try and call the customer service 1-800-375-5283 and see if they can help u with any information...

I would just make sure that Appt. #2 will give it to you and then I would show up some days earlier in a nice afternoon make sure it is a sunny day either Tuesday to wendesday and I hope they will take care of you.
For your application, in the time of your interview make sure you correct it on you application.
When you go to ASC ( Application Support Center) make sure you write the correct address in that one page of form.
