No Finger Printing Letter?

Hi Everyone,

I got an NOA on Aug. 20th, 2009, and today is Sept 10th. I have not gotten a finger printing letter and it has been past 15 days. Should I start knocking some doors and should I be concerned. My mom got her finger printing letter and she applied a week after me. I am starting become anxious. Should I be concerned? Please help. thanks.
 
I remember you posted a few days ago that your online status changed to RFE sent on Sep. 3? I am in the same boat. I have not received anything in mail yet till this day. I see other people with the same online status getting their FP notice one by one and I am still waiting...

For me RFE posted on Aug 21 , but they mailed the fingerprint notice only
aug 25 & got it on aug 27 .

My guess from RFE Online status , give 7 to 10 days . After 10 days if you didn't get it, then contact Infopass or customer service.

You might be mistaking me for someone else. I wish my status changes, but unfortunately not. :(. I want to call them, but people around me are saying wait 4 weeks, and then contact them. I dont know??? Should I contact them and if this causes further problems, I dont know. Any help? Is there some sort of process that I am not aware of.

What is your DO, my friend? Please post your timeline (using the "signature" feature) - which will enable other members to then estimate/comment if you're behind the curve.

I been waiting for 22 days to see any update on FP
Friend of mine got the FP status change after 26 days and I 'am going wait before going crazy

My friends,

I got an email for RFE, which is a finger printing letter. I suppose the letter will arrive in a day or two, HOPE. Thank you everyone for helping me not "lose my cool". I was going to call the USCIS office today, but they got lucky. :D .
 
The FP notice did not come today. I am getting worried. It has been 8 days since the day they sent it out (at least the online status indicates that). What can I do?

There is 80% chance that you'll get it this weekend, 90% chance get it before tuesday and 99% chance getting before next weekend.
 
Thanks, WBH! Turns out it fell into the 80% chance in your prediction! I received my FP notice in mail today! My appointment date is Sep. 22.

jackinthe, thank you too! You are right. Although the online message said the notice was sent on Sep. 3, the actual notice date and the post-mark date is Sep. 8.
