No Fp Notice Yet

Hi! I have same situation. My 485 ND is 6/21/07 but no FP notice yet. I called 1-800# several times but no help. I want to know that what happen with ur info pass. Did they give you FP notice. My 485 is in TSC and my local info pass is at Baltimore MD. Please help, I will appreciate.

I was in the same situation just like you. My RD for I-485 was May 10 and I did not receive my fp notice for more than three months. I called th NSC and was able to talk to a couple I/Os. Some of them told me to be patient and I would receive my fp notice in a few weeks(just like my lawyer said, she was wrong too!!!). I didn't buy it and kept calling till one I/O actually looked up my case. According to their system they sent me a fp on June 7th! I told her I didn't receive it and she was nice enough to reschedule one while I was on the phone...This happened three weeks ago and I got my fp done last week.

To sum it up try to convice an I/O to actually look up your case in the system. Ask them if they have sent a fp notice or not. Then verify your address and your lawyer's address (they send a copy each). If the person you talk to is not willing to help, hang up and try again later and talk to some other I/O.

hi,

My 485 case was transferred from CSC to NSC.
I called yesterday to check about my finger print appointments .
The I/O scheduled the appointment right away for me and my spouse ,while i was phone .!!!!!
i called around 4:30 EST yesterday.

yep USICIS amazes me ....
 
call ASC

Hello guys,

My 485 ND is august 27th and I am from NJ. I still haven't got my FP notice yet and have already called up USCIS 2-3 times and each time they say that the FP has been ordered but not mailed yet since my local ASC must be busy - tough to believe since my other friends who have later ND have already done their FP from NJ.

I was wondering if I can call up my local ASC office to see if they can help in any way regarding the appointment...

any suggestions?

Finger Prints Notice

Hi All,

I got my EAD Approval and Also Advance Parole, my only concern is when I checked my bank where the Checks were deducted and receipt numbers are on back side of the check, seems like the 485 and finger prints receipts are same , and I have updates on 485 that this case was now pending at the office where it was transfered.

Does the Finger prints comes after the EAD,AP or before these,

On my and spouse EAD cards , we have a small box as"Finger Prints are not available" ,does it mean anything .??

Appreciate anyone who helps me to understand this

FP ordered but may take several weeks to receive appointment letter

When I called USCIS customer service today (the call actually went to the service center my I-485 is pending in), they said FP was ordered back in Sep 5th and may take several weeks to actually receive the appointment letter depending on the workload of the center where they sent the order to. I guess, I will have to wait few more weeks to receive it. Also, about 3 weeks back I called them and opened a "service request" (I guess that's what they call for any enquiry) and asked me to wait 45 days before calling back if I don't get any FP notification.
 
FP notice received

Yesterday, we received FP notices. There was a duplicate notice with the same appt time with a accompanying letter quoting my service request I placed about 4 weeks back.

GOOD NEWS; Got FP :) -> July 2nd filer

On 18th i opened SR. Just now received FP notice. Defenitely opening SR helps. My spouse hasn't received yet.
 
Fingerprint notice has not arrived

I am leaving for India tomorrow and have not received my 2nd fingerprint notice yet. 2 weeks ago I got a leter from USCIS saying that they will mail be a letter with the notice. I went to Infopass on Monday, and they say my fingerprint is on Nov 23rd, there is no letter though and I am not sure how to reschedule it without the letter from USCIS mentioning th date?

Any advice?

You can go to ASC where your appt was schedule and talk to them, they usually allow FP if your name is listed on their system.

I was told that we have up to 90 days after receiving FP.

I filed my I-485 in July, got the receipt in October.
Two concerns:
1. My spouse and I haven't received the FP yet.
2. My son's I-485 got returned, and I refiled again early November. I worry my son's file and our files got separated?

Any suggestions, what could we do?
