No Filenumber Yet

I applied for Canadian Permanent Residancy in March 2002. But I haven't got my file number yet. Cashier's check i sent to them had been encashed, i checked with my bank. I wrote them letters and sent them fax but no reply. Had anybody went through similiar pain. Please reply.

r u sure u apply last March, 2002... if that's the case, your application has been past due already... contact them...


or maybe you applied March,2003...

I'm sorry to say but i know of someone in exact same situation. CIC is veeeeeeeeery slow now. My own application for my family's sponsorship is 6 months past due already and still no word from CIC .... you aren't alone, they are dragging everyone's case.

try asking for reasons for the delay... inquire from cic, twice a month...
