No Expiration date on I-94

Hi,
One of my friend came to USA with B visa and later he converted B visat to I media visa. But he said there is no expiration date on I-94. I believe it should have visa expiration date. Is this a mistake from USCIS? Can someone put light on this? Should he go to local immigration office to get visa expiration date stamp on it? Any help will be greatly appreciated?

It is an obvious error on USCIS's part. However, your friend should get it corrected, since he will get into trouble if he does not know when his authorised stay expires.

Can someone put light on this? Should he go to local immigration office to get visa expiration date stamp on it? Any help will be greatly appreciated?
