No EADs in Boston if 485 filed in Vermont !!!

Friends:

Just wanted to let you know Boston office will not give you EAD if your 485 is pending in Vermont Service Center.

I went there and got this news !!! I didn't find this info anywhere on the website. Maybe they had it in immigration news some time.

I was so hopeful of getting it the same day. I have an offer waiting just for my EAD. I've to now manage to extend my project till I get my EAD, God knows how long !!!

Boston comes under VSC. what is up? was that an wimp who dont know how to stand up for his right or a genuine guy who was deprived of his right to apply for EAD...
boston office have not had any complaints so far...

I heard Boston had FINALLY decided not to issue same day EAD from February ...not sure but that is what an attorney told me - I had asked her to double check with AILA and she did.

Further info from others will be helpful...
