We are scheduled for our Oath Interiview in two weeks and I just noticed that the immigration officer at Port of Entry forgot to Stamp our Passports with the Arrival Date ??

My son who has the US Passport has a stamp but is missing on ours ??

Is this is an issue during the Oath process ?? Is there a way to get the stamp on the Passport again ??

Do you have boarding passes or tickets or your itinerary. If my interview is any example, it should not be a problem (they did only a very cursory check of my passport). Just be honest.

Since I had 3 passports in the interview (2 expired) and about 3 dozen trips, the IO did not bother at all with checking the stamps - just wanted to ensure that the total number of days was OK.

During my interview, the IO did not even bother to look at my passport. At the oath ceremony, it was not relevant either. I did not even bring my passport to the latter event.

So far, I have made two trips on my U.S. passport. On my first trip (coming back from Romania into Dulles Airport), they stamped my U.S. passport upon reentry. Upon return from my most recent trip (Germany), going through Atlanta, they only stamped the customs form but not the U.S. passport.

Cheers!

There are various reasons entry dates can get omitted or messed up. I wouldn't worry about it - USCIS doesn't seem to care even if they do "look" at your passport.

["Look" seems to translated into little more than briefly flipping through the pages.]

Thanx for all of your responses.

Through Infopass system, I did made an appointment to see an Immigration officer at Newark office on Nov 27th, which is a week ahead of our Interview. Will post on this message for future visitors.

I made a gazillion trips overseas (work related) since I got my Green Card and I recreated a lengthy list of all of them from my old diaries, passports and reentry permits.

In so doing, I realized that most times they stamped the passport on reentry, sometimes only the reentry permit and on a few occasions, neither.

However, as I know "they" have a complete record of my comings and goings, I listed them all on the N-400, regardless of the stamps.

I have no anxiety about this and I do not think you need worry either.
