Folks,

There are no genuine Aug approvals yet.. The one posted by maggie is a FAKE.. Here is maggie\'s info
RD 08/13/01
ND 09/05/01
EAC 01-276-XXXXX

All the three info do not agree with each other. My friend\'s RD is 08/06/01, ND is 09/25/01 (How come maggie\'s ND is 09/05/01? should have been definitely later than 09/20/01 atleast?) and EAC-01-279-XXXXX (How come maggie\'s EAC is 01-276 ? should have been EAC-01-284-XXXXX)

I am not one of those who doubts the first approval everymonth.

I am not trying to authenticate what has been said by maggie. However, I was talking to my attorney today and she told me that she has received quite a few approvals for July and one approval for August. Won\'t give me any details. But I would atleast accept what my attorney told me as she would have no reason to give me wrong info. So we might actaully see August approvals pretty soon. I really need it soon.
 
Just remain silent if you dont believe

That post might have error for the ND. Say nothing if you don\'t like it.
 
maynot be fake...

The same has been said about the first approvals of every month..If you look at August tracking list on this board , there is one more person with ND in early september...

I am not saying that it is true, but I am saying that we cannot call it a fake blindly...
 
yes I believe it may not be correct one, EAC no is not supposed to be EAC-01-276-XXXx

mine is eac-01-277-xxxx with receipt date of AUG 1
 
I think you guys are just jealous

I have known LC approvals in 1 month.

Anything can happen with INS. Just because the EAC numbers dont match your guesstimates of EAC it doesnt mean that it is fake. Maybe he was lucky to have his application be seen before your applications were.

I feel that he is telling the truth. You guys continue with your theories and assumptions of how INS should function. Its interesting to read.
 
Here is why it may not be fake....

The three digit in EAC the "working day of the year" starting from 1st October. This is generated by the system. So 276 is September 21st. You can verify - all NOTICE DATE (the date on which the application was entered into the computer) with Sept 21st would have EAC with 276.

It is possible for July, Aug or even Sept RDs to have EAC 276. Assuming INS is processing in EAC sequence this case would get approved. Please remember "nothing works sequentially". Some guy is more efficient than others and may have finished his/her pile of dataentry.
