No approvals from July 1st???????

I haven't seen any approvals from July 1st, any idea what's going on?

Ya. If you are an EB-3 filer there are no visa numbers available for ANYONE until the new fiscal year which is October 2005. SO if your I-485 is pending it will not get any approval until at least then.

Anybody wants to know what is happening in NSC office? Well, half of them are on a long vacation, and another half of them are scratching their heads don't know what to do. Somehow they heard there were no visa number available now. What EB1, EB2, EB3? Never heard of it!

I am talking about EB1 and EB2. I haven't seen a single approval either on this site or on rupnet.

No, I haven't seen any approvals after July 1. Those posted on rupnet were approved before July 1.

Our family got approval on July 6. So far we have received only emails. The details are

EB1OR
140, 485 Concurrent ND April 26, 2004.
140 approved on April 18, 2005, No rfe.
Received rfe on June 17, 2005--birth affidavit.
rfe replied on June 24, 2005. Received by INS on June 27.
Yesterday we received email saying our 485s were approved.

I wonder whether the time frame of ND matters or I-140 approval matters.

I observed that most of the concurrent cases irrespective of original ND are getting approved within 2-3 months of I-140 approval.

At least in Eb1-OR/NIW cases.
