NIW, TSC vs.NSC

I'm new to the forum, so please forgive me if the question sounds silly or has been answered before.

I've recently got my Ph.D. in physics, and am thinking of giving NIW a shot. I currently have two postdoc opportunities at either Colorado or New Mexico (both national labs), but haven't decided where to go. I know that Colorado is in NSC and New Mexico belongs to TSC. Both postdoc positions are quite similar in other aspects, so I'm kind of hoping to make a decision based on the easiness for NIW application, and your advice will certainly be helpful in my decision making.

1. My main question is whether choosing new mexico has the advantage in NIW, since it will go through the TSC center. The answer apparently relies on answers to the following questions.

2. I've constantly heard that TSC is much easier (quick decision, soft standard) a center than NSC in handling NIW cases. I've heard that there was some kind of mergence of the NIW teams early last years, which might weaken the advantage of TSC over NSC. Is it true, or TSC is still a much better choice? A definite answer is clearly hard to get, but probably you will have some insight based on your or other's experience.

3. I saw in some posts that some people got their cases transferred from once center to the other. I wonder if my case will be handled by certain centers solely depending on my employment states (Colorado with NSC and New Mexico with TSC) or it could just end up at a random center. If it is all random, I guess there is no need to simply choose to work at New Mexico in order to get my case to TSC.

I guess all I am asking is should I choose New Mexico over Colorado for the purpose of NIW, and if so, how big an advantage of it. Thanks in advance for your kind help.

Chose the place you like

Hi
Chose the place you think that would really help you to up in your career. Dont think in terms of Greeb card. If you want your I-140 to go to TSC you could e-file it. Dont worry about all these things.

Pick a good advisior for the post-doc. Bad advisor will make your life hell before you get the GC.
