NIW RFE in Texas center

Recently (10/04/00) I got a RFE from Texas center requesting more information. The questions are:

(1) Why not ask my company to file the petition;
(2) Salary
(3) All materials should be translated with certified people into English.

My background:

(1) Ph. D (1998) in chemical engineering from a US university with a renown professor as advisor
 (2) More than 15 papers (8 papers for my dissertation)
(3)about 15 citation
(4) Two patents.
(5) Now working in a biotechnology company.
(6) RD: 6/7/00

I am working with my lawyer to prepare the response.
Any suggestion and comments are welcome!

I think NIW\'s are typically employer petitioned. With your qualifications, if you want to follow the self-petition ruote, you should apply under the EB1-EA category. A lot less fuss in that route.
