NIW progress (sic)

When I applied for my NIW on 2/18, VSC was processing cases received 4/1.

Now, seven months later, they are processing 5/28.

That's a progress ratio of approximately 1:4.

I thought this category was designed to allow expedited permanent residence to valuable individuals.

I have not seen any mention of NIW cases on this forum for some time.

Any updates. If not, rumours and allegations will at least keep us entertained.
 
A request

The EB1-OR applicants seem to be more active than us. Why don't we try to "keep this thread alive"?

Processing for NIW is at the slowest pace ever, but then I see people from this year 2003 getting approved. So, go figure.

The online case status for my eac# says 30-360 days but the person at National SC says 15 months from the date of receipt.

Sign of the times : National Interest is only in the national security, even if you work as a janitor for the army or any defense agency - they will process you immediately.

But if you are a Ph.D., publish regularly and work 15 hours a day in the lab trying to find a solution to a disease then you are not worth it.

Don't blame me I did not vote for the present administration.
