NIW or labor certification

hi everyone,
my J1 waiver is pending INS approval. i wanted to understand what are the pros and cons of getting a green card via NIW versus labor certification

Depending on where you live, LC can add an enormous amount of time to your GC. The problem with NIW is that your profession must be in the "national interest" AND you must be, without question, amongst the best in your field. Most people will not qualify ofr NIW. Do a search ont eh Web. There are many attorneys who will do a free NIW evaluation.
