Anyone intrested in peds job in underserved area,i have been here for 2 yrs and i am leaving cos my niw is complete,if intrested let me know.

Hi,
I am doing my NIW in peds in California as well. I get done at the end of October this year. Have you already got your GC? How long did it take to get it after you filed the final evidence? I have an approved Labor based I140 as well, and I'm trying to decide whether to wait it out till October or ask them to transfer my NIW based I485 to my labor based application. What was the final evidence you submitted? Any information will help.
Thanks a lot.
PS Congratulations on getting thru this long painful process.

I have not gotten the green card yet but I have filed final evidence 2 mnths ago, moving to sacramento which is where my husband is.My lawyer sais as soon as u get ur evidence submitted and you have done 5 yrs u can move.I have a friend in chicago who moved after her 5 yrs was up ,she got the green card abt 1 yr later

Do you plan to maintain your H1b status or just work on EAD after you have finished the NIW 5 year commitment and moved to a new year.
Also are you continuing to work in an underserved area or fully served area?
What happens if someone has not maintained H1b status and is on EAD, and his/her NIW I 485 gets denied.

Hi again,

Can you tell me who your lawyer is? Were they knowledgable and would you recommend them? I am considering getting a second opinion on my case.
Thanks

I am actually going to take some time off,but i shall have my ead,I actually left the country and returned on advance parole 1 year ago,so I am in parolee status.the law firm i used is badmus immigration law firm in dallas,as far as i know if you are on ead and i485 gets denied you are screwed.cos you are immediately out of status, unless you maintain ur h1b
