NIW & job change

after I-140 approval how long should I wait for a cahnge of jobs. I just got my notice. Should I wait untill finger printing & all that?can I take ajob in another state which is undert another INS center(TSC). I am now in NSC area. I would like to change my job from auniversity to private sector ? will it affect my petition? did anybody have any experience like that before?
