I am a new user in this forum and would like to ask you about my NIW file, which was sent to VSC 2 weeks ago.

What kind of notices and when can I expect from Vermont? (i-140, i-485 and i-765 are filled concurrently).

Thank you.

I guess you should be getting the receipt notices of all the applications. Am I missing something here?

Do you know when this kind of receipt usually comes from Vermont SC?

Guys,

I have been waiting for 3.5 weeks for notice of receipt from VSC, but it is nothing from them.

Is it normal?

Did you pay the fee by your check. Then track the check through your bank. If check cashed, that means they got your fee.

Thanks for advice.
The checks were deposited by VSC yesterday. It means they have accepted my file for processing.

I have read on this forum that USCIS will stamp the receipt number on your cashed check. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.

Oberton, Did you file NIW by self-petition? Or you hired a lawyer? Could you share some of youre experience for filing the I-140 and I-485. What is the other form you filed (I-785?) What is this form for? Could you post your NIW process in VSC here?
Thanks a lot.

ny915w, I would be happy to answer on your questions.
1. My NIW is not self-petition, it is sponsored by my company.
2. An immigration lawyer prepared this petition. It took 8.5 months.
3. I did not fill myself all forms, I just signed them.
4. I have the concurrent filling of I-140 and I-485.
5. My file has I-785 for employment authorization.
6. The notice receipt came in 4 weeks.
