I have a strange situation, and would appreciate any advice.
EB-1 OR I-140 was filed on my behalf at CSC in Sep 2002. Unfortunately, I was laid off in Nov 2002. The I-140 was approved in April 2003. I have moved onto a post-doc job at a Calif national lab (non-permanent position, hence they cannot sponsor EB1-OR).
Now my wife had applied for EB-1 OR in VSC in May 2002 and we applied for I-485 in Dec 2002. All of you know about VSC and I-140. No approval or denial.
My question is:
Can I do anything about my approved EB-1 I-140 from CSC. Is the only option if I want to make use of it, to rejoin the company that sponsored it.
