evidence

Here is what my attorney filed.
1. 5 year completion letter (must say you worked 40hrs/week for 60 months WITHOUT interruptions, besides vacation and CME time offs).
2. Paystubs of 5 years/W-2forms (I sent both), she also asked me copies of all tax returns for 5 years
3. Medical exam report.
4. Any applicable filing fee.
hope this helps. Which center are you filing with?

my center: vermont! who should give 5 yr completion letter?

1. 5 year completion letter (must say you worked 40hrs/week for 60 months WITHOUT interruptions, besides vacation and CME time offs).

who should give this letter? sponsor? or state 20? or self?

2. Paystubs of 5 years/W-2forms (I sent both), she also asked me copies of all tax returns for 5 years

what if pay stubs are not there? only W2's and tax returns?

3. Medical exam report.

done 1 yr ago? do I have to redo?

please reply

Give as much info as you can. If you have W-2 & tax return that should be okay, in addition my friends have given letters from local mayors/chamber of commerce/yellow page ads. etc to prove that you were there "full time " for 60 months. If you do not have paystubs its okay, you can ask bank to give statements for last 5 years to show you deposited the pay check in bank.

I think medical is valid for one year. YOur attorney may be able to tell you. I would let the INS make that call coz if they sit on your application it may expire again.
Do you know what time it takes to get fingerprinting request once you give final evidence to INS (any friends collegues experience?)
Please reply.

I called my attorney yesterday and she told me that now it ws a "waiting game". Has anyone been in contact with INS directly and has that led to any luck? I was thinking of calling them myself and maybe involve a local senator. ANy thoughts/experience??

finger printing done in March 2004 for me!

thanks for your suggestions: pedsmd, I will do my best to give as much info to INS as possible.

exactly one year ago , finger printing was done for me!
by March 15th it will be one year?
I had medicals 2 years ago and FP 1 yr ago
VT center is different I guess? I am sure I have to repeat that.

Calling the customer service number or visitng the local INS office is useless. In both the options USCIS sends back a standard letter stating that "your case is pending review, please give us more time". In my opinoin contacting the congressman/senator is a better option because they can elicit a more detailed response from the USCIS, but I doubt they can get USCIS to expedite the process.
