Received the approval email today, now if only my husband's name check could clear!!

FP cleared 3/9/06
Name check cleared 4/17/06

I am a research associate (postdoc) in an academic institution.
Ph.D. Pharmacology (Jan 05)
7 first author pubs, 17 total pubs (not including abstracts) - all peer reviewed.
High impact and high numbers of citations.
8 total rec. letters, 2 independent international, 4 independent US, 1 current employer, 1 previous employer.
Several small awards.
Reviewed several grants.

I think the most important thing is making your case for national interest in the cover letter and rec letters.

I used the POJ trick to contact TSC directly. Depending on who you get there they may or may not take the time to look at your name check and FP status. Here is the POJ trick in case you can't find it here on the forum:
Call the national customer service number then follow these steps:
Press 1 for english
Press 2
Press 6
Press 1 for SRC #
Press 1 again to confirm
Press 3
Press 3 or 4 when it says u have file Multiple application ( I think it was 4)
