Hi,
I wished to have my niece visit me here for 1.5 months, during her summer holidays. She went to Kolkata for her B2 visa and they did not grant her a visa. (She went to Kolkata because no appointments were available in Chennai)
She mentioned that she would be travelling with her grandparents and they asked for her grandparents's visa copies. She did not have those with her. They told her to go to Chennai to re-apply.
Unfortunately, there is a long wait in Chennai for appointments. The earliest one available is September 15th. Her holidays are May 1 to June 20.
There are appointments available in Delhi for May 10, 11, 12.
Does anyone know if she can go there ? Will she be rejected outright, or will they look at her papers ? If she gets refused in Delhi, will she have trouble later in the future if she applies for any US visa ?
Are there are any additional documents she needs to take with her (she is 14 years old) ?
