Nick of Time. Approved.

Phew…. Just made it in time before the new retrogression hits EB2 (IND) category.

My status changed to Card Production ordered and then to Notice mailed welcoming new PR, late last night/early morning. I thought I’d share with you all first before telling anybody.

It’s been a long journey. 3rd attempt at GC after 12 years in the US proved to be the charm. Although I'd take it, I am more relieved than ecstatic. With career in tank and motivation depleted, I will reassess and try to enjoy the new status. Confidence is sexy :cool: Good luck and I’ll pray for you all.

Please pray. I have PD Nov. 2002 EB2 India and still stuck in damn name check.
 
Thanks to you all. I feel the NC pain.

I wrote to both my senators and the congressman. IO passes, faxes everything. Had my NC cleared in time I'd have been approved in 05'. NC in my personal opinion is an unnecessary and inefficient process the results of which are useless(Namecheck is not end of all investigations). This is a bureaucratic process just to gain political identity for some. A talking point just to calm and comfort the paranoid among the voters(uninformed bunch). It was disappointing for me to watch 485's being approved in July and August 07 with later PD/ND. I hear you.

Congratulations spulla and all the guys who got their GC approved during the past couple of weeks. Hope i would get lucky too :)
 
Thanks a lot again guys. Good luck to you all too. I believe that eventhough the dates are retrogressed for EB2, you'd still see approvals...if not now...towards the end of the fisical year, similar to what happened from july to september of 2007. Keep up the good fight.
